Milk and Cookies, Anyone?

I love shooting cheesecake with Tiffany K. (Tkexpressions). We shot this set for Cupcake Provocateur. This is her Betty Style apron in "Naughty & Nice." I brought my cigarette girl tray to make a play at a Milk and Cookie girl. Since Tiffany's pup Nala had a hat of her own, we decided to put her a couple of shots. She wasn't too pleased with the hat, as you can see in the photo above. :P

Barns and Blood

Due to location shooting (and cold weather!), I have plenty of experience in quick shoots. I think this one was about 10 minutes long. Evan and I were racing the sun to find an old barn that suited my fancy for this guerilla-style shoot. I guess it wasn't exactly guerilla-style though as Evan did ask the owner for permission once we landed at this farmhouse, but as it was cold and we didn't tell the ninety-year-old couple that I'd be using prop blood and a large knife, we tried to wrap it up quickly. ;)

Hot Meat

This was the first time I shot with Evan Smith. We did this in August. I really wanted to eat that kielbasa until we poured gasoline on it. And then I still kind of wanted to anyway because the scent of gasoline is oh so delicious to me. (I didn't though. I swear.) :P

Vinyl, Bondage, and Burlesque

It's been a while since I've made an update, mostly because my website is getting close to relaunching and I've been saving updates for that. I'm really excited for this launch as it has been months since I've had a proper site, and I have plenty of work to share. My webmistress is working hard in her spare time, and I really appreciate this. She is a friend of mine and amazingly talented. :)

Onto the photos...I recently shot with Damsel In Distress Video Productions again for some bondage teasers. The above photo is in a vinyl catsuit, bound with tape and plastic wrap. We also shot some sticky glue fetish stuff in the same ensemble. :)

This past weekend was my one year anniversary of performing burlesque at the Atomic Trash shows (and in general!). The ladies of Atomic Trash deserve mega props for all the hard work they do to make these shows a success. I am seriously amazed by them, and I think all of Portland, ME should be thankful that we have a regular burlesque performance in our fine city thanks to these talented ladies. :)

This last show was called "America the Boobiful," and being celebrated on America's birthday, the theme was patriotic. As such, I decided to celebrate one of my literary heroes: Hunter S. Thompson. I wonder how he'd feel about it...

I also performed a piece as a Lewd Lady Liberty. My bff helped with the costume, and poor Mr. Good had to deal with my last minute stress and the "repeat" button. He was even darling enough to massage my hands and feet (without me even asking!) while I bathed post-show.

After the show we danced outside of Geno's and me, Kate Tush, and Mink Diamonds took it to the street. :)

This past Saturday I attended Portland's first annual Rockabilly Rampage. I was originally supposed to be performing at the event, but the owner's of the venue decided that they rather have nothing to do with burlesque. As unfortunate as it was, I still enjoyed myself. Good music, good company. I sold issues of the new Retro Lovely Magazine, and got some jive and swing lessons from a couple different partners. I'm excited to get more practice. :)

It was a good weekend.

Legs, Honey, Smoking

The July 2010 issue of Leg Show Magazine is now on stands, so I suggest picking up a copy at the nearest porn distributor near you. ;) *HINT* Portland, ME: Video Expo on Congress St. carries this magazine. ;) I have six full pages in this issue shot by the fabulous Viva Van Story with wardrobe provided by my favorite lingerie brand Cameo Intimates. The sample shot here is much tamer than the next four pages in the feature. Go pick up a copy and let me know what you think. ;)

The above two photos were shot this past Tuesday with Tiffany K (tkexpressions) in good ol' Portland, ME. Tiffany traveled up here to break in my new apartment, and before she had to leave (once the rain stopped coming down) we went down by the ocean to shoot a Casablanca inspired photo.

I taped a video clip of me smoking my cigar by the sea, which will go live on my clips4sale later today (for all you smoking fetishists).

Graduation and this past Weekend

I graduated 2 weekends ago. Since then things have been a bit of a whirlwind. Actually, things have been a bit of a whirlwind these past two months, from Vegas to now. The weekend before finals, I had a marathon session with MyBigHairDay. She came to Maine to style me in 3 different looks for Tom Couture, fully armed with hairspray, makeup, and vintage purses. I don't have images back yet from that adventure because Mr. Couture left for Vegas soon after, but soon I'll share the results of this on-the-spot creative collaboration. After late night pizza, Sarah and I passed out, only to wake early the next morning for part 2. She prepped my hair and after a pit stop for coffee, we were on our way to Manchester to shoot 3 looks with Dastardly Dave: a hat for Hey Sailor! complemented by some of my vintage underthings, an intergalactic inspired set in blue vinyl lingerie for Cameo Intimates, and ending with a sweet and sticky treat, after a few shots in a pair of rose pasties for Gothfox, I drizzled myself in honey. Still feeling a little sticky, I brought Sarah to the bus station and drove back to Portland solo. It was late. I was going to attempt to read at least some of the material that had been building up over the course of the semester in preparation for my last two finals the next day, but I was unable to keep my eyes open. So early the next morning I played my favorite game of "Let's see how well I can do on this exam without having done any of the reading assignments this semester." And then I played it again a few hours later.

To my great surprise, when I picked up my robe that Friday, I was congratulated for graduating with honors: magna cum laude, and given a blue cord to wear with my robe. This was good, because most of my family does not know about me modeling or performing burlesque, so now it would seem that I was a good academically-inclined student without any distractions when in fact it's been quite the opposite, having placed school at the bottom of my priorities and pursuing more fun artistic endeavors instead. I just checked my grades, and despite this semester being the worst semester I've ever had in terms of slacking, I came out with 3 A's and an A-. It's strange that I would be so concerned with my grades coming out well when I hadn't put any effort into it, but I had been checking multiple times a day to see if grades were posted. I guess I'm a bizarre breed of slacker.

This past weekend, as soon as I got out of work, I hopped on a bus to Boston and flew to Philly to shoot with Corwin Prescott and his infamous fox. Joseph Balestra lived in the apartment below, so he came up and I shot with him after experiencing my very first Philly cheesesteak. The next morning I returned to the airport and flew down to Dallas, where I shot with Trent Sherrill, Miss Missy, and Dynamite Dames. I'm super excited about all the images I shot with these fabulous artists. I got home on Tuesday, just in time for my work-week. I guess I'll get to the pictures now.
